WEARING: Cow Print Co-ord!

I recently bought this matching co-ord set after finding it through instagram. I was going for a night out for one of my friend's 21st and was looking for an outfit, I hadn't really seen much I liked and I am obsessed with two pieces so one of these seemed perfect!

I follow a few girls who sell them through Instagram and online and they're all lovely, I love seeing the new styles they create or the new fabric they use. I just think two piece's are so cute for summer, anything matching is good in my eyes! I think handmade one's are even better because you know they're worth the money and they're well made, which is definitely better than some places!

TheHomemadeCloset had various prints and patterns to choose from but I decided on the 'Cow Print'  because I thought it would be cool and so easy to style because it was monochrome. I can't wait to just wear these shorts turned up with a little white bralet on holiday!

I wore this for a night out so I dressed it up but it would be so easy to wear just in the day, especially in Spring/Summer, with some white chunky sandals and sunglasses.

I went with simple white strappy heels (which my lovely sister let me borrow) and a chic white clutch (again, courtesy of my sister). I then wore this bright purple lipstick because I thought it would go well with the bold print.

The set was really well made and it's such an easy outfit to just chuck on!!

WEARING: Pastels and Florals

So we recently got the opportunity to work alongside a new exciting fashion company;  'Missy Empire'. Missy Empire is a UK based online company, with a range of  affordable, on trend pieces, the site is updated regularly so there is always something new to lust after! We thought we would show you what we chose and how we would style these pieces up for Spring/Summer.

I chose this lovely cream floral jumpsuit. I actually don't think i've ever worn a jumpsuit (is that weird?!) so this was a first for me, but this has definitely converted me... a whole outfit in one piece? What's not to love, these must make life SO easy.

The print is so pretty, it's almost in a watercolour style which I think makes the jumpsuit much more delicate and feminine... it definitely isn't just flowery overalls!!!

The shape is great, it's very slim fitting which I like but not too tight, I think this is just SO flattering, it lengthens you, so definitely the answer if you want to appear taller!

I decided to pair it with coral accessories to pick out the colours in the print. I wore this coral silk style bomber jacket which made the look more casual and 'edgy' and luckily for me I had these chunky coral flatforms just lying around (well, i've never wanted to wear them because I don't trust myself not to ruin them).

I decided after styling this up that it would be the perfect wedding guest outfit! I guess I just need the invite now...

Coral Bomber - Primark £10.00
Coral Flatforms - H&M £19.99
Chain Necklace - Primark £4.00

I chose this baby pink jersey cami dress, I like how simple it is and how you can wear it with pretty much everything... I think it looks really chic and flattering and the material is not too thin so that it hangs nicely and isn't see-through.

I styled the dress with black accessories so it wasn't too girly and added some form of contrast against the pastel pink. Both the black faux leather backpack and the faux leather chunky black gladiator sandals are from primark and I think because they both have gold hardware they go well together. I added my fedora style hat and a spiked diamanté necklace, but kept everything else really simple.

The ways of styling this dress are pretty much endless, it would look great mixed with two other pastels for the tri-pastel trend which is really popular at the moment, or it could look cool with some trainers, a leather or denim jacket and a leopard print clutch.

Primark Black Gladiator Sandals - £13
Primark Backpack - £10
Fedora Hat, Vintage Fair - £15

We both really love the pieces we received, the quality was great and they were SO affordable which makes them perfect in our eyes! Every time we check out the site they have new items up, and they are all so on trend right now, they even have a whole section devoted to pastels which we love!

You can also find Missy Empire on Facebook and Twitter, we're big fans of the twitter page because of the weekly competitions they run!! Have a look... they're definitely worth a follow!

One of the hottest trends right now is wearing neon, stripes and leopard print all in one outfit, I've seen loads of these triple trend inspired outfits in magazines and blogs, the mixture although busy and eclectic still somehow looks chic and so now. STYLING: Gingham Jeans

So I just thought i'd just show you how i've been wearing  these baby blue gingham skinny jeans I bought recently from Primark. They are a total rip off of the Topshop gingham Joni's that everyone seems to have at the moment, which makes me like them even more! They are a really good fit and high waisted too, so it seemed silly not to get them!

The first way i've styled them is with this oversized denim shirt, I love wearing shirts over outfits instead of a jacket or just as a layering piece, I think it can really dress down any look and can make things much more casual. I've rolled the sleeves because I think it makes it look cooler...
I could be wrong, in fact, i'm probably wrong... i'm just a big rolled sleeve fan!!

Little theme here, with the oversized denim... I bought this cute little 90s style cami vest from Primark and thought it would be a really simple way of wearing the jeans, with white accessories,  and then layering up with a massively oversized slouchy denim jacket.

I've also paired the jeans with other pastel items, I think they look so cute put with this fluffy lemon turtleneck jumper,  the colours compliment each other so well and the shape of the jumper just dresses the jeans up the perfect amount. I also styled them with this textured pastel pink top, which I think is such an easy way to wear them but still looks put together.

Gingham Jeans- Primark £13
White crop- Primark £2
Oversized Denim Shirt- Thrifted
Birks- Primark £5
Cami Vest- Primark £4
Denim Jacket- Thrifted £7
Lemon Turtleneck- Primark £10
Sunglasses- Primark £2

With all the outfits I have been wearing my new wannabe birks, I just love them and they are perfect for my spring wardrobe because I don't actually own any other white shoes, plus they literally go with everything!
